Proposal Manager
Job Description
The Proposal Manager oversees and executes CRB’s marketing / sales efforts, primarily focusing on managing, developing, formatting, and submitting proposals within the Architecture / Engineering / Construction (A / E / C) industry.
This role involves contributing to the company's marketing strategy, creating content, participating in account-based marketing activities (if applicable), and ensuring adherence to brand and style guidelines.
While the Proposal Manager may engage in other marketing activities, their primary responsibility is proposal management.
Additionally, they may supervise employees across different locations, providing daily supervision, mentoring, and coaching.
This role may also involve managing cross-company marketing and company initiatives with multiple participants from different disciplines.
The Proposal Manager ensures timely delivery of high-quality proposals, leads special projects such as information management initiatives, manages content flow for deliverables, and fosters collaborative relationships with various stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in a professional services marketing role with focus on sales support, proposal management, data integrity and analytics with heavy involvement with proposals and qualifications as needed in an AEC environment
- Track record of success creating content for complex solicitations above $20M
- Advanced graphics, document layout, editing and quality assurance skills
- Strong project management skills
- Experience leading strategy, detailing differentiators and providing structure for deliverables that focus on clients’ expressed needs
- Experience leading milestone review meetings and managing document iterations
- Experience with the full sales cycle from identifying projects to securing project award
- Ability to inspire teams to meet internal deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of InDesign and other Adobe Suite programs, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Deltek Vision or equivalent;
Office 365, marketing automation, and data analytics experience
- Advanced at designing and executing complex marketing initiatives, strategic opportunity campaigns and managing diverse teams
- Advanced at coaching and facilitating interviews with technical project teams
- Previous employee management and / or supervision experience within the marketing industry
