Investment Operations Associate
Vaco Boston has partnered with our client, a global investment management firm, that is seeking to hire an Operations Associate.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Facilitate trade settlements
- Resolve trade discrepancies and failing trades.
- Collaborate with trading, portfolio management, client service, & sales staff to research and respond to account-related issues
- Conduct vendor oversight for account administration
- Improve quality controls by recommending operational improvements
- Coordinate and support client restriction reviews.
- Work with the portfolio management team as needed to support the manager onboarding processes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree.
- 2-4 years of experience in a trade operations role with an investment manager or custodian / broker dealer
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple issues / projects simultaneously
- Ability to handle deadlines and time-sensitive situations
- Excellent communication skills
