Job descriptionCPA designation (active or in progress) Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Minimum 2+ years of public accounting experience in audit and / or tax. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities. Our client is seeking an Audit Senior on behalf of a respected accounting and advisory firm located in Sacramento, California. This opportunity is ideal for CPA professionals with audit and tax experience who are passionate about serving diverse clients, including nonprofits, benefit plans, and low-income housing organizations. Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm is plus!
Location : Sacramento, California (Head Office), with options in Stockton
Relocation Assistance : Not available
Responsibilities :
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team of six professionals.
- Strong technical accounting background with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Experience supporting financial audits across nonprofit, low-income housing, and employee benefit plan sectors.
- Skilled in preparing and reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts, and nonprofit organizations.
