About this Job :

Key Role Overview – Senior Accountant (Audit Focus) :

Assist with managing client engagements in audit.

Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts, and non-profits.

Support financial audits for industries such as non-profits, low-income housing projects, and employee benefit plans.

Analyze financial trends and assist in preparing pro forma financial statements.

Conduct preliminary tax and audit research and draft client communications and memos.

Evaluate internal controls and help identify areas for improvement.

Build strong client relationships and maintain regular communication to ensure client satisfaction.

Mentor junior staff by reviewing work and providing coaching support.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.

CPA designation or in progress.

3–5 years of experience in public accounting (audit).

Strong technical knowledge in accounting standards and tax regulations.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Self-motivated with a detail-oriented, hands-on approach.

Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Lacerte or Checkpoint a plus).

Skills - Must Have : 1. CPA

2. 2 years of Public Accounting Experience in a firm (tax / audit)
