As the Senior / Staff AI Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the AI strategy and architecture of our cutting-edge fintech compliance platform. You'll lead the development of AI-driven solutions that enhance regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and fraud detection for financial institutions.
In this role, you'll design and deploy scalable machine learning models, oversee model governance and explainability, and work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI seamlessly into our platform. You'll also set technical direction, mentor a growing AI team, and ensure our AI solutions meet the highest industry standards for accuracy, fairness, and compliance.

In this role you will
Define AI Strategy & Development - Define and drive the AI roadmap for our compliance platform.Ensure Model Explainability & Compliance - Develop transparent and interpretable AI solutions that meet regulatory standards.Collaborate Cross-Functionally - Work with engineers, data scientists, and compliance experts to integrate AI into the platform.Optimize AI Performance - Improve model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability in a high-stakes financial environment.Stay Ahead of AI Trends - Research and implement the latest advancements in AI, NLP, and anomaly detection.Mentor & Guide the Team - Lead and mentor a growing AI team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.Drive AI Governance & Ethics - Establish best practices for bias mitigation, model validation, and responsible AI use.Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.2 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow), artificial intelligence, deep learning or natural language processing.Preferred qualifications
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.3 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, and / or debugging3 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow), artificial intelligence, deep learning or natural language processing.Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.2 years of experience with LLMs and training.Note : previous work references might be required.
