Responsibilities
Perform a variety of formal appraisals of land and real property for both lending and non-lending purposesMentor and sign off on reports for traineesTrain and develop skills as a Property Estimator , working alongside Sr. Property EstimatorsEvaluate and estimate costs, labor, and resourcesCollaborate with insurers , insureds / homeowners, and project managers to scope and manageMaintain current knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practicesDeliver exceptional customer service to clients, lenders, and homeownersAbout the Property Estimator Role
As an Property Estimator,
Onsite inspections using hardware / software such as 360-Cameras, MatterPort, Hover, eagle eye, etcWrite estimates using software such as Xactimate & Symbility (sketch).This hybrid skill set will make you a key part of IVG's future growth.

Licensing & Experience
Active Certified Residential (required)Minimum of 2+ years of residential appraisal experience (preferred)Familiarity with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and other valuation standardsExperience with or interest in property restoration, construction, or insurance estimating (training provided)Technical Skills
Proficiency with appraisal software (e.g., ACI, Alamode, Mercury Network, or similar)Basic understanding of estimating platforms (e.g., Xactimate) - or willingness to learnStrong computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office and Google WorkspaceProfessional Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilitiesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracy in data and reportingAbility to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlinesProfessional demeanor and commitment to ethical standardsOther Requirements
