California Licensed Pharmacy Technician

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Services Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Manage prior authorization requests and communicate coverage determinations to providers and members

Assist in the maintenance of the formulary and support audits and quality checks

Investigate and resolve prescription-related grievances and support pharmacy audit functions

Required Qualifications

Minimum A.A. degree

Active Pharmacy Technician License required

At least three years of experience in a health plan or PBM performing prior authorization for drugs

Basic knowledge of medical terminology and current diagnostic and reimbursement coding

Proficiency in pharmacy computerized systems and MS Office Suite
