Shipping and Receiving Worker

Salary / Pay Rate : $18.50
Shift : 3 : 00pm to 11 : 30pm OT Required- must be able to work weekends

What’s a typical day as a Shipping and Receiving Associate? You’ll be :
- Picking, packaging, and completing orders into shipping boxes
- Processing shipments to customers
- Receiving and signing for inbound shipments
- Inspecting received items for quality, quantity, and accuracy
- Stocking incoming materials and ensuring inventory accuracy
- Replenishing production points and warehouse storage locations
- Picking and kitting electronic components for production
- Issuing materials as per work orders
- Performing cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Monitoring expected inbound volume and storage locations
- Consolidating materials to free up space
- Identifying and reporting non-conforming materials
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Adhering to safety policies and procedures
This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Can lift up to 70 lbs and handle items weighing 5 to 10 lbs
- Have basic computer skills to use ERP system
- Are able to perform repetitive tasks quickly and accurately
- Possess basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Have a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Own steel-toed boots
- Have forklift experience (stand up)
