We are seeking a strategic and results-driven IT leader to oversee and optimize enterprise portfolio and program management functions. This role will lead the development and execution of digital transformation initiatives, including large-scale platform migrations and clinical technology programs. You will build and mentor a high-performing team, establish governance frameworks, drive investment prioritization, and ensure program delivery excellence. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will leverage data-driven insights to monitor performance, track ROI, and implement improvements that advance organizational objectives. Accountabilities :
- Lead and scale the IT Program Management Office (PMO) to drive portfolio strategy and delivery excellence.
- Oversee project managers and program managers responsible for planning, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance across technology initiatives.
- Develop and implement governance models, project prioritization frameworks, and lifecycle management processes.
- Monitor project and portfolio health, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, milestones, and budget targets.
- Collaborate with Finance, Product, Operations, and external partners to optimize investments and resource utilization.
- Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to evaluate portfolio success and inform strategic decision-making.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
15+ years of experience in project / program leadership, enterprise portfolio management, or clinical technology delivery.6+ years of direct leadership experience in cross-functional, matrixed environments.Proven track record in enterprise-scale platform migrations, PMO development, and governance implementation.Expertise in portfolio management tools, digital analytics platforms, and agile delivery frameworks (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Planview).Strong background in advanced analytics, financial modeling, ROI assessment, and performance measurement.Experience in healthcare, clinical research, life sciences, or regulated environments preferred.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive leaders.Strategic mindset with hands-on leadership, balancing long-term vision with operational execution.Benefits
