Mental Health Practitioner
Job Description
Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to work at a facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate : $31 / hour
Job details :
Full-time or part-time, 7 : 00am-5 : 00pm M-F.
Duties :
- Provide individual / group counseling and crisis intervention to inmates.
- Participate in the initial screening and orientation of new inmates.
- Conduct risk assessments and treatment planning for group participants.
- Complete written documentation for assigned inmates in a timely manner.
- Consult with appropriate staff regarding inmate mental status and treatment progression.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings.
- Screen and refer inmates to appropriate review teams, programs, or treatment.
- Update / revise treatment plans and recommend changes in case management as inmates' statuses change.
Qualifications :
Has received a master's degree, a doctoral degree, or the equivalent of a master's degree, as determined by the board, that consists of course work and training which was primarily therapeutic mental health in content and included a practicum or internship and was from an approved educational program.
Practicums or internships completed after September 1, 1995, must include a minimum of 300 clock hours of direct client contact under the supervision of a qualified physician, a licensed psychologist, or a licensed mental health practitioner.
- Must have a Mental Health Practitioner license in the state of Nebraska
