The General Manager for the University of Minnesota Campus Transit system will work with our client to ensure that exemplary campus transportation service is delivered to the University.

You will provide leadership and a clear vision to deliver excellent customer service and client relations to support the educational mission of the University of Minnesota with consistently safe and reliable campus transit.

Responsibilities of a General Manager

• You will handle all contractual services to include client relations, service delivery oversight using transit specific technology, project management of new programs, administrative functions, operations.
• You will ensure compliance with the client contract, company procedures and policies, along with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• You will manage and oversee transit service delivered to the expectation of our client, within budget by developing, implementing and follow through of action plans to improve operational efficiencies.
• You will analyze, prepare, and develop budgets and forecasts, along with reports that satisfy client, corporate, and contractual requirements.
• You will provide leadership and clear vision to the workforce, develop your location and company bench strength; and promote effective communications with customers.
• You will assure a safe working environment by establishing training goals and requirements for all personnel.
• You will work collaboratively with the management team to ensure resources are delivered for effective service delivery.

What we would like you to possess :

• Bachelor's degree
• Valid driver's license
• 5 years of experience managing bus / transit service
• Collaborative management style
• Proven record of handling multiple responsibilities
