Caterpillar in Seguin, Texas is seeking a dynamic Production Technician II to join our C9 diesel engine assembly team! As a Production Technician, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, working hands-on to assemble, test, and troubleshoot our cutting-edge equipment on our C9 long block line. What you will do :

• Align and secure engine components according to work instructions
• Install gaskets, seals, bearings, hoses, covers, and visual components
• Ensure parts and materials used in assembly are defect-free
• Assist in problem-solving and improvement initiatives across departments
• Verify correct alignment of engine components using schematics and part prints
• Inspect parts and materials for quality defects
• Conduct audits and quality inspections to address known defects
• Perform torque audits, leak tests, and visual inspections on engines
• Submit and support resolution of C.P.S. Continuous Improvement cards
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and area-specific instructions
• Collaborate with other departments to address assembly-related challenges and suggest improvements
• Provide information to supervisors and managers regarding processes in the assigned area
• Occasionally participate in training and development
• Perform any other assigned duties

Summary Pay Range : $19.05 - $23.20
