Description :
This opportunity is ideal for candidates experienced in financial reporting and finance systems maintenance. To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate strong technical, analytical, and customer-oriented skills.
The Analyst will join the Global Reporting Integration and Run Support team, supporting management reporting solutions across all sectors.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
- Provide support for existing reporting solutions, including ensuring data integrity of published data.
- Recommend and / or implement additional reporting requirements on AFO / Alteryx / Tableau / SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Communicate and partner with numerous business stakeholders, regional Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and IT support across the globe.
- Develop and support PHARM and MedTech SigniFi reporting platforms (SAP AFP and SAC).
- Offer user support and issue resolution in collaboration with the global reporting support team.
- Assist business teams during monthly and quarterly close processes related to reporting.
- Manage legacy reporting on Tableau for MedTech.
- Participate in documenting operational and enhancement processes.
- Understand the financial impact of reconciling and ensuring data integrity; work with systems teams to repair any issues with data or reporting.
- Serve as an expert in ERP data feeds utilized in reporting solutions; investigate at the lowest data levels and recommend appropriate actions.
- Continuously contribute to the improvement of overall data quality.
- Maintain and enhance a strong internal control environment.
Business Relationships :
Act as a business partner with stakeholders to resolve reporting defects.Support commercial analysts on leveraging reporting solutions and developing expert local knowledge.Understand data flows, financial reports, and report calculations.Serve as an intermediary between systems and the business to ensure feedback and resolution of issues.Collaborate with IT and other support groups, including CFIN, Datahub, Master Data, internal / Governance Reporting Teams, to resolve reporting issues.Participate in knowledge transfer sessions for new reports and sector deployments as they go live in production.Required Skills & Experience :
Qualified or studying Finance / Accounting or Business Intelligence (BI).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, attention to detail, and initiative to follow through on directives.Appreciation of global partners, cultures, and norms is critical for this role.Excellent communication skills; operate independently and collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment.Strong technical and analytical skills with experience in complex financial accounting and systems environments.Ability to manage ambiguity.Proactive, high energy, positive "can-do" attitude, and self-motivation.Preferred Skills & Experience :
