Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join a dynamic team in Nevada. This role is vital in ensuring a seamless supply chain process by managing inventory planning, purchasing, and replenishment of finished products and materials for both domestic and international operations. The position requires a hands-on professional dedicated to maintaining an uninterrupted and timely supply of products to operations and customers.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate prices, terms, and set quality standards and delivery requirements for third-party contract packaged finished goods.
- Effectively manage the PO replenishment process with a focus on matching inventory levels with customer needs.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and receipts for contract packers for both finished goods and packaging materials.
- Support OEM planning and purchasing management.
- Expedite purchase orders to ensure vendor receipt, quality, and delivery times are met.
- Develop and implement contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate with sales forecasts and distribution to determine order quantities and timing.
- Maintain a working knowledge of budget processes and accountability for PPV.
- Analyze material usage and costs, implementing procedural strategies to maximize efficiency and cost optimization.
- Maintain proper inventory procedures and inventories of items ordered and stored in offsite locations.
- Coordinate replenishment for contract packed finished goods from suppliers to distribution centers.
- Participate in new raw material specifications development.
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully to develop alternative solutions.
- Work with the production planner on intercompany planning for offsite facilities and prepare procurement schedules for co-packer facilities.
- Monitor incoming orders to ensure timely production of products.
Qualifications
5 years in procurement / material planning in a manufacturing environment required.Strong negotiation and supply contract management skills required.Ability to travel domestically and internationally required.Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word, required.Able to work in a fast-paced environment.Experience working with an ERP system (ORACLE preferred).Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as good computational math skills.Required Work Hours

Salary Range : $75,000 - $78,000 per year
