General Summary of Position

Unit Highlights

3 East- 38 patient beds. This unit takes patients on chronic ventilator / continuous bilevel positive airway pressure. Ratio is 1 : 6 and 1 : 4 for ventilator / continuous bilevel positive airway pressure patients.

3 West- 30 patient beds. This is the designated cardiology unit. It is also a medical surgical unit. Nurses on 3 West are trained to take care of the vents on 3 East also.

2 South- 13 bed private room telemetry surgical unit. Orthopedic, GI, GU, Spinal, overflow GYN. Safe behavior health room. Ratio 1 : 5-6.

2 East - 38 bed unit Med / Surg, Tele, Stroke.

2 West - 30 bed unit Med / Surg, Tele, Dialysis.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex.

You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

  • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
  • Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
  • Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
