Project Accountant / Property Accountant

Location :  San Gabriel Valley

Pay :  $30 per hour

Temporary position with strong possibility of going temp to hire

Offers a hybrid schedule once trained. Must be local to Southern California.

We are hiring a  Project Accountant / Property Accountant  for a temporary role supporting accounting functions tied to power plant projects—new builds, retrofits, and updates.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and verify the completeness of job closing packages
• Analyze project costs and budgets to ensure accuracy and proper documentation
• Track and process fixed asset activity, including additions and retirements
• Interpret as-built drawings to identify installed and retired utility facilities
• Prepare cost summaries and journal entries to finalize closed work orders
• Generate final cost statements for completed projects
• Process CIAC (Contributions in Aid of Construction) with correct asset values and cost of removal
• Run various queries and support special projects and account analysis
