Watch Officer
Assertive Professionals is seeking a Watch Officer supporting our National Security customer in Washington, DC. This is a proposed position, we are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus to qualified candidates that sign a Letter of Commitment before 11 / 9 / 25. Responsibilities Include :
- Provide 24 / 7 / 365 analytical support to the National Security Customer through rotational shift work, ensuring continuous monitoring and assessment of intelligence information to identify and evaluate emerging threats.
- Review raw and finished intelligence from multiple classification platforms and data sources across the Intelligence Community (IC), the National Security Customer's Intelligence Enterprise, and state, local, tribal, and territorial partners.
- Assist in the collection, evaluation, and dissemination of actionable intelligence that allows senior leadership to anticipate threats, frame emerging situations, and take targeted mitigation actions.
- Produce written and oral intelligence products, deliver briefings, and conduct analytic exchanges with the National Security Customer, IC, and Federal, State, Local, Territorial, Tribal, and Private (FSLTTP) partners to maintain shared situational awareness.
- Maintain awareness of current and emerging global threat streams, geopolitical developments, and leadership priorities to provide relevant and accurate intelligence support.
- Compile metrics and feedback for watch operations, maintain strong coordination and communication skills under pressure, and prepare executive-level products that clearly and concisely present factual information to inform Cabinet-level and senior leadership decision-making.
Required Experience and Qualifications :
Active TS / SCIBachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institutionWith a degree from an accredited institution in an area applicable to the position : Three (3) years of prior experience performing the functions identified below :Provide 24 / 7 / 365 analytic support through rotational shift work, maintaining a minimum of one employee per shift across six shifts to ensure continuous operations.Provide intelligence analysis using raw data from multiple intelligence sources to support ongoing watch and warning operations.Review and assess intelligence from multiple classified platforms and data sources to identify, prioritize, and evaluate potential threat indicators and warnings.Review both raw and finished intelligence from the Intelligence Community, the National Security Customer's Intelligence Enterprise, and state, local, tribal, and territorial partners.Assist in collecting and disseminating timely, relevant, and actionable intelligence to support the various centers in identifying emerging threats, guiding responses, and enabling targeted mitigation actions.Conduct analytic exchanges within the organization, the IC, and Private Sector partners to maintain effective communication and situational awareness of ongoing activities.Produce intelligence reports, briefings, and communications to support decision-making and information sharing, while developing and compiling metrics, feedback, and data related to watch and warning operations.Maintain awareness of ongoing and emerging threats, geopolitical events, and the National Security Customer priorities to provide up-to-date intelligence products and informed support to decision makers.Prepare clear, concise written intelligence products suitable for Executive and Cabinet-level audiences, as authorized by the organization's leadership.Possess strong oral, written, and coordination skills to clearly and concisely communicate factual information under pressure and within tight deadlines.With a degree from an accredited institution in an area not relevant to the position : Seven (7) years of prior experience performing the same functions identified aboveIntelligence Community (IC) experienceExperience working with the National Security Customer data sourcesKnowledge of the National Security Customer and Intelligence Community intelligence authorities, the organization's component missions, overall, the organization's intelligence research and analysis, and the role of the organization in supporting the National Security Customer's Intelligence EnterpriseKnowledge of overall National Security Customer's intelligence mission areas.Knowledge of Intel Watch style reporting best practicesKnowledge of Intel Watch warnings and indicator best practices.Knowledge of Intelligence Community best practices on current intelligence products.Experience working with Microsoft Office suite and the National Security Customer's and IC data systems.Desired Experience and Qualifications :
