The RN Unit Manager position is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives.
This position assists in contributing to the hospital’s philosophy, objective, educational and Quality Improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff on assigned unit(s).

Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Education : Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management preferred.
Credentials : Licensure by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
Experience : Minimum three (3) years of experience in a hospital setting preferred; Charge Nurse experience preferred
