Description

Apple is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their Global Network Services (GNS) team. You will be responsible for maintaining the global backbone and internet peering infrastructure. You are involved in regular network maintenance, migrations, upgrades, and augmentations of the infrastructure that supports both internal and external customers. Additionally, you may occasionally participate in network designs, defining and developing toolings and automations to enable large-scale deployment and operations.

Responsibilities

• You will collaborate with vendors on bug fixes and new features, and liaise with peers in Operations / Engineering and Architecture to ensure alignment of technical requirements. Thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will be multitasking and providing operational support for the Backbone. You will also work closely with multiple multi-functional teams to resolve critical network incidents. In this role, you will prioritize the customer experience and drive operational excellence through strong technical leadership and mentorship.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
