Description :
The primary function of the role is to support installation and mechanical completion activities related to mechanical equipment packages.
Responsibilities :
- Apply construction lessons learned from previous projects
- Coordinate / execute construction activities in accordance with construction execution plan (including ITPs, project schedule and cost)
- Collaborate with CVE leadership team to ensure safe and effective execution of equipment installation / mechanical completion activities and ensure all construction / mechanical completion testing requirements met
- Coordinate and interface with CVE project management and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment / package installation issues
- Apply manufacturer recommendations / specifications and industry recognized standards to ensure satisfactory quality of equipment / package installation is achieved
- Collaborate with vendor representatives to ensure equipment / package installation specifications and preservation / maintenance activities are defined and executed
- Assist with utilization of computerized systems completion database to facilitate equipment / package testing tracking, certification and quality to project specifications
- Assist in seamless transition of commissioning systems / subsystems from construction to commissioning through participation in check sheet verification, pre-walks, tri-party walk downs and punch close-out
- Support the development of pre-commissioning, commissioning and maintenance checks and plans for mechanical equipment
Deliverables :
- Provide weekly updates to line manager
- Data for input into Hexagon Smart Completions to log any deficiencies to be corrected
Qualifications :
- Degree / Diploma / Qualifications / Certifications in related Technical Discipline
- 15 yrs years related experience in Oil and Gas Industry
- Supervisory skills
- Demonstrated awareness and proactive approach to EHS
- Experience and understanding of engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and mechanical completion and commissioning
Competencies :
- Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with a variety of people / disciplines both internal and external to CVE.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team environment, as well as maintain effectiveness in varying environments and with different tasks, responsibilities, and people.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, and MS Project.
- Working knowledge of Smart Completions software from Hexagon is preferable.
- Able to read and understand P&IDs, PFDs, ISOs and technical specifications
- Able to understand and use CMS databases, preferably Hexagon
- Experience in working with construction contractors at their facility during the building and commissioning of the facilities.

Work schedule :
Will vary- Sunday-Thursday, or Tuesday-Saturday, with the possibility of night shifts. 50 hours per week
