Project Engineer - Land / Site Development

Overview : Our client is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with a focus on land development and / or site development projects. In this role, the selected candidate will apply engineering principles to design infrastructure for commercial land development projects. Additionally, they will actively engage with professional associations and community organizations, contributing to our client's commitment to building strong community partnerships.

Responsibilities : On a day-to-day basis, the Civil Engineer will :

• Assist Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, or Vice President in the production of project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Develop feasible design alternatives and compare key parameters, such as typical sections, horizontal and vertical alignments, right-of-way requirements, and costs.
• Identify and analyze the principal design features and major design alternatives that align with the project's purpose and need.
• Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
• Prepare written technical reports and engineering studies following the approved company format.
• Provide guidance and direction to engineering technicians involved in production work. By taking a leadership role in these daily activities, the Civil Engineer will contribute to our client's vision of becoming the most respected engineering firm in Texas.
