Follow-Up Specialist

A company is looking for a Follow-Up Specialist to ensure timely and effective follow-ups with insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities :

Follow up on unpaid claims with insurance carriers after specified claim age

Contact insurance companies to inquire about denied claims or claims needing further information

Identify denial trends and report issues to assist in preventing future denials

Requirements :

1-2 years experience in an AR Follow-Up

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office apps such as Teams, Outlook, and Excel

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Experience in Professional CMS 1500 Billing, Multiple Clearinghouses, Billing Systems, EMRs preferred

Knowledge of Multiple States Billing Requirements, Commercial and Government Payers preferred
