Concept Shop - Retail Associate
In 2010, we started making sun care products to protect ourselves, our families, and our friends from the damaging rays of the sun.
Since then, we’ve grown and expanded into haircare, skincare, and lip care products, and even launched Baby Bum, our rad plant-based baby skincare line.
Along the way, we’ve been building an amazing, like-minded global community of friends that encourage us and help us be better.

Summary :
The Concept Shop Retail Associate will bring the brand to life through our Concept Shop and support the shop to become a community hub.
Strengthen our competitive advantage as a Beach Culture Lifestyle brand and deepen our community’s loyalty and stoke by bringing energy each and every day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Support Concept Shop by bringing energy each day, stoking out shoppers, and keeping the store looking great.
- Responsible for being in the shop Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and will be given potential opportunities to work additional times throughout the month based on business needs.
- Partner with Sr Coordinator Community, and Concept Shop with things in order, keeping things clean, being mindful of inventory.
- Assist during community events that take place in the Concept Shop.
- Be a product knowledge expert and continue learning as new items are dropped and added into the shops inventory.
- Such other duties and responsibilities as reasonably directed by manager.
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies :
- Inventory savvy and has a knack for organization
- Self-starter
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies :
- Experience with both large and small companies is a plus
- Passion and knowledge of Action Sports (surf / snow / skate) culture and beach lifestyle Compensation :
- $20 / hour
- $20 / hour
Job Requirements :
- HQ Location, Encinitas, CA
- Part-Time, no more than 30hrs / week
- Availability to work Thursday-Sunday through peak time (May-September)
- Availability to work Thursday-Sunday through off-peak time (October-April)
