Anesthesiology Opportunity in Lake Charles, LA Located 1 hour from Beaumont TX and 2 hours from Baton Rouge, LA Position Details : - Hospital based employment - Surgical Case Variety : OB / GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urologic, Pediatrics,Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Trauma ( Level III)- Regarding Pediatrics : Typically 3 4 weeks is the youngest. Occasionally, neonates for pyloric stenosis- No epidurals at the main campus, all done by CRNAs at the Womens Campus- Cardiac experience is a plus- Two facility locations : 315 bed Main Campus Hospital and Multidisciplinary Women and Childrens Hospital- Main Campus has 16 ORs and a 5 room endoscopy suite- Womens Campus has 6 ORs- Established Anesthesiology team including 7 Physicians and more than 20 CRNAs- Approximate hours : 6 : 30am noon or could be until 5 : 00. (there is always one late physician until 5 : 00pm) if on nights, come in at 5 : 00pm and finish any cases left from the day but are still on-call until 6 : 00am for 7 days Compensation and Benefits - No In-House call- Day, Float / Night Float system- Average of 1 weekend call per month- Relocation Reimbursement- Paid professional liability insurance- Competitive Vacation, Holiday, CME and sick time off with pay- CME and Dues / Memberships reimbursement
