BHN is currently seeking a Family Support Worker to join our Family Resource Center (FRC), supporting families through engagement, education, and community connections.

What You'll Do
As a Family Support Worker , you will engage directly with families to help them access resources, strengthen skills, and build community connections.
Facilitate evidence-based parenting groups, youth support groups, and family activitiesProvide intake services, referrals, and application assistance for benefits such as SNAP, MassHealth, SSI / SSDI, and housingSupport families in navigating child- and family-serving systems and understanding their optionsMaintain a community resource binder and provide up-to-date referralsEnter intake and group information into the CRM database in a timely mannerSupport and guide volunteers leading groups when neededCollaborate with staff and community partners to ensure family needs are metServe as a bridge between families and providers, helping both understand perspectives and share informationWho You Are
High School Diploma or GED required; additional education in Human Services preferredExperience navigating child- and family-serving systems and supporting caregiversExperience facilitating parent or youth groups strongly preferredKnowledge of community resources and ability to connect families to supportsStrong communication, organizational, and group facilitation skillsAbility to work with diverse populations with cultural competence and respectAvailability for evening and weekend hours requiredValid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable vehicle requiredComfortable with technology, including word processing, email, and data entryWe Hire for Purpose!
