CLEAR is seeking a Senior Manager, Payments to lead the end-to-end strategy and execution of our subscription payments ecosystem. You'll serve as the in-house expert on credit card billing systems and data flows, responsible for ensuring accuracy, reliability, and continuous optimization of our billing operations. Reporting directly to CLEAR's Chief Accounting Officer, you'll partner cross-functionally to improve performance, reduce risk, and enhance the member experience.

What you'll do :

• Ensure billing processes run with high accuracy, uptime, and compliance24 / 7 / 365
• Monitor and optimize key performance indicators, including authorization success rate, payment failure rate, chargeback rate, recovery and fraud exposure, transaction costs, and interchange fees
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, and Member Care) to improve authorization, conversion, and mitigate payment-related friction
• Develop reporting and dashboards for leadership to create transparency and drive accountability across teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to payment failures, declines, or disputes

The base salary range for this role is $130,000-$170,000, depending on levels of skills and experience. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR's total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units.
