Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience
• Patient ratio experience
• Experience with charting system

Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse.

The position involves 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

The patient ratio is expected to be 5 : 1.

Flexibility is essential as nurses may be required to float between units.

All requests for time off must be submitted upfront.

Candidates must possess experience in telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and blood product administration.

Candidates will work with adult and geriatric populations and be responsible for managing cardiac drips, central and peripheral line care, as well as non-invasive airway management.

The unit is supported by various interdisciplinary services including respiratory therapy and social services.

Candidates should be prepared for a variety of patient diagnoses and conditions.

Please note that this unit has previously functioned as a COVID unit, though it is not currently designated for COVID care.

Candidates are expected to work a minimum of one holiday during their assignment.

This position may not be suitable for those who reside within specific distance criteria from the facility.
