Job descriptionConduct cost analysis on financial programs and operations Determine financial status and analyze forecast results Perform month-end client valuation for assigned funds Research and assess offshore and domestic fund options Resolve accounting errors on a timely basis with documentation Prepare profit and loss models Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, healthcare administration or related area. - Required Five years of prior experience in healthcare finance or healthcare financial analysis to include experience working with hospital clinical / claim and financial data, working with large databases, cost experience; data extraction and analysis and the ability to extract data and analyze using a variety of tools including Access and Excel. - Required OR Ten years of prior experience in healthcare finance or healthcare financial analysis to include experience working with hospital clinical / claim and financial data, working with large databases; data extraction and analysis and the ability to extract data and analyze using a variety of tools including SQL, Access, Excel (IF YOUR CANDIDATE DOES NOT MEET THE EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT). - Required Master’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration - Preferred One year of experience with healthcare contract management / reimbursement systems and knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies. - Preferred Tableau experience. - Strongly Preferred SQL experience. - Strongly Preferred Cost accounting experience. - Strongly Preferred HM looking for Proforma and Cost Accounting experience specifically.
