Sr. Electrical Project Manager / Engineer

What You Will Do :

GFT is seeking a Sr. Project Manger / Engineer, Electrical to join our Buildings and Places Business Group in Fife, WA ! This role full time on site ( 5 days a week) at our Fife, WA location.

What you'll be challenged to do :

This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Electrical Project Manager / Engineer who thrives in a collaborative team environment. You will be doing a combination of the design work as well as managing projects.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following :

• Project Management of a team of engineers / designers to complete electrical design projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines as required for a successful project.
• Interface with clients and owners.
• Writing project specifications.
• Managing project budgets.
• Meet with clients for the purposes of obtaining future work.
• Design building and site lighting systems.
• Size, coordinate, and specify lighting fixtures and electrical distribution equipment.
• Calculate and analyze electrical loads.
• Perform lighting calculations to ensure adequate light distribution and energy-efficient design.
• Provide design support in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
• Attend meetings with the project team, including architects and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure electrical design complies with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Prepare documentation for permit applications and agency review.
• Perform construction site visits and write field reports.

Compensation :

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $175,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location. Featured Benefits :
