The Vice President of Division Clinical Operations (VPDCO) is responsible for leading the division's Clinical Resource Management Program and Operating Room Internal Control Coordinators, implementing and measuring supply expense management initiatives, and directing supply chain activities in collaboration with other supply chain stakeholders with a focus on surgical and procedural services departments, e.g. Cath lab, Endoscopy, interventional radiology and special procedures.

The VPDCO will collaborate with the Supply Chain Director and Clinical Resource Management Team to ensure data integrity, accuracy and efficiency of the preference card process, support the Supply Chain team to lead margin improvement activities, which includes inventory management and patient billing review. The VPDCO will review and optimize the group purchasing organization's contract portfolio; develop and execute product standardizations for the entire division; and implement national product formularies and standardizations.

The VPDCO will collaborate with the Hospital Executive Leadership at the Corporate, Division and Facility level to execute Supply Chain Operations and HCA Clinical Operations Group plan. This individual is responsible for leading change positively, and setting the tone of the department as a service organization, continuously seeking to understand, meet, and exceed customer needs.

The President of Division Clinical Operations is responsible for driving positive change through program definition and leading initiatives that support the health care organization's clinical, operations, quality, and financial agenda.
