Director of Software Engineering

A company is looking for a Director, R&D Software Engineering to lead the modernization and innovation of software platforms for digital physiology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the modernization of clinical trial software platforms, focusing on front-end and back-end systems

Define and execute the technical strategy in partnership with executive leadership to enhance system performance

Oversee multiple development teams, driving adoption of DevOps, CI / CD, and test automation practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred)

Minimum of 10 years of technical experience, including software engineering leadership

Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams in global environments

Strong background in full-stack development, cloud architecture (AWS preferred), and platform modernization

Experience in technology-driven or clinical software environments preferred
