Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Consumer Financial Services Litigation Associate to join its Los Angeles office. This position offers a hybrid schedule with remote flexibility for candidates residing in Los Angeles or the surrounding area. Position Overview

The firm’s nationally recognized Consumer Financial Services Litigation Practice is looking for a motivated mid- to senior-level associate with at least 5 years of experience in consumer financial services litigation. The successful candidate will play an integral role in handling all phases of litigation in a collaborative, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Manage and litigate complex matters involving consumer financial services disputes

Handle all stages of litigation including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation

Collaborate with attorneys across offices as part of a national litigation team

Support business development and client service initiatives

Qualifications

Required :

JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

Active membership in the California Bar

Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience with a focus on consumer financial services

Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

Preferred :

Experience at an Am Law 200 or highly regarded litigation boutique

Strong interest in developing long-term client relationships and contributing to practice growth

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range : $165,000 – $195,000, commensurate with experience
