Audiologist, Per Diem
Responsibilities :
- Assist leadership in planning expansion of Audiological services, including special tests (e.g., OAE); aural rehabilitation with patients of all ages, development of hearing aid dispensation services, etc.
- Complete all required documentation accurately, in a timely manner, and thoroughly in accordance with department standards;
in addition, documentation complies with patients' insurance requirements.
- Market Audiological services in-house and at other sites, as possible.
- Perform Audiological screening and evaluations for patients referred by medical providers, and as required by individual patient needs.
- Work effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. Consult with and effectively communicate with other team members, make appropriate referrals, and provide staff with educational and training opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
- ASHA certification preferred.
- Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Advance Resuscitation Training.
- Current California State Audiologist License required.
- Doctorate degree in Audiology (AuD) required, OR Master's degree in Audiology if graduated prior to 2007.
- Bilingual English-Spanish is preferred.

34.32 - 48.98
If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and / or experience.
In addition to these factors we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
