IO (JOINT TARGET INTELLIGENCE
POSITION SUMMARY
Officers orchestrate and lead Target Intelligence production at commands and organizations ensuring the Intelligence Community, Defense Intelligence Enterprise, federated partners, Service intelligence components, and partner nations are leveraged to support joint target intelligence production.
They reveal vulnerabilities in adversary target systems, and convert processed or exploited information into target intelligence through analysis and preparation of products in support of user requirements (e.
g., target system analysis, target folders, target lists, and targeting assessment). JTI includes all target types, and supports both lethal and nonlethal fires, from bombings to cyberattacks.
JTI Officers also establish policy governing JTI standards and procedures, and advise joint force targeting and fires operations on engagement strategies for targeting priorities, and the assessment of those engagements. POSITION DUTIES
This non-supervisory position is located in Peterson SPACE FORCE BASE, Colorado Springs, CO and is with the UNITED STATES SPACE COMMAND (USSPACECOM, J23) This position is responsible for performing the following duties :
With minimal guidance, displays a fundamental understanding of the Unified Command Plan, Joint Strategic Capabilities Plan, and Defense Intelligence Analysis Program and uses these documents to produce target intelligence receiving assistance with unusual situations from the supervisor.
With minimal guidance, produces standardized joint target intelligence based on a comprehensive understanding and interpretation of published instructions, policy, and doctrine.
With minimal guidance, displays a fundamental understanding of the Unified Command Plan, Joint Strategic Capabilities Plan, and Defense Intelligence Analysis Program and uses these documents to produce target intelligence receiving assistance with unusual situations from the supervisor.
With minimal guidance, performs one or more of the following : target list management, no-strike coordination, targeting automation duties, target intelligence planning, target development, Collateral Damage Estimations (CDE), weaponeering, point mensuration, and Battle Damage Assessment (BDA).

1. Graduate of the Joint Targeting School (JTS) to include : Staff, Joint Intermediate Target Development, Applications, Collateral Damage Estimation and Battle Damage Assessment.
2. Knowledge of adversary space and counterspace networks and weapon systems.
3. Knowledge with USSPACECOM command relationships and theater joint targeting processes and organizations. APPLICATIONS RECEIVED

FOREIGN AREA TOURS OF DUTY ELIGIBILITY
DIA employees applying for a position in a foreign area must be eligible for assignment to or within the foreign area as noted in DIAI 1404.

Employees currently assigned to a foreign area are ineligible for consideration if selection will cause them to exceed the time limitation for foreign area service or, conversely, the employee will not satisfactorily complete their period of obligated service within 6 months of the closing date of this announcement.
More than one permanent change of station move within a 12-month period is not considered to be in the interest of the government for the purposes of relocation at Government expense.

DEPLOYMENT / MOBILITY STATEMENT
All DIA employees are subject to world-wide deployment to crisis situations and are subject to geographic relocation in accordance with agency guidelines.
SHIFT WORK
Availability for shift work, extended hours, and travel may be required for this position.
RELOCATION COSTS
Relocation expenses in connection with a permanent change of station may be authorized in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations and at agency discretion.
