JOB TITLE : Floor Tech Full Time 7 AM TO 330 PM

JOB OVERVIEW

First Shift (7 AM to 330 PM) UTILITY WORKER / FLOOR TECH Responsible for operating Floor Cleaning Machine to wax floors throughout the facility, empty trash and at times provide housekeeping services to provide a sparkling clean, hygienic and safe environment that is patient and family centered. May clean patient rooms in a timely manner after discharge of patients. Also may clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, public restrooms and other areas as assigned. Responsible for providing linen services throughout the facility. Monitors the facility with a critical eye to catch those items that need cleaning and attention. Uses cleaning supplies and equipment as regulated to provide a safe cleaning environment. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS :

Education : High School Graduate or GED preferred

Experience : Prior EVS work experience preferred

Mimimum Age : 18 years of age

Work Conditions : Must be able to work with cleaning supplies in a safe manner

Able to multi task with safety practices

Must have basic computer skills to enter patient room turnover
