Working with us, you will :
- Perform space programming to capture client requirements.
- Develop spatial test fits and a schematic design of spaces. Perform facility code analysis to determine spatial test fits adhere to code requirements such as ABA, NFPA, GSA PBS-P100.
- Develop design and construction drawings, including minor mechanical, electrical and other building systems construction drawings as it relates to the project.
- Perform quantity takeoff and develop cost estimates.
- Develop and give client presentations of the project during the various phases of design and construction. Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for presentations and documentation.
- Perform space surveys to capture various spatial elements for projects and planning needs.
- Assist with various space planning administration such as updating floor plans, cubicle signage installation, and maintenance efforts.
- Perform project management throughout the life cycle of a project from concept to construction closeout.
- Work on special studies and projects as it relates to space planning and project management at the agency.
An ideal candidate has :
- 4 to 8 years of space planning experience
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Photoshop
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- Architectural registration or NCIDQ preferred
