Contracts Manager
Reports to : COO
The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day legal activities, including sales and vendor contracts, negotiating with vendors and customers, and ensuring overall compliance with laws and regulations. Serves as a business advisor to the ELT and other senior-level managers. This role will require professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information, the ability to work in an organized and efficient manner with high attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Administering and managing sales-related contracts from conception through post-execution. Tasks include reviewing, negotiating, and modifying contracts, creating contract summaries, and tracking and monitoring contract deliverables and compliance with obligations.
Negotiating, reviewing, and modifying vendor contracts in partnership with buyers and budget owners across the organization.
Coordinating with internal stakeholders and answering contract-related questions.
Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and effective processes / systems for managing contract information, contract input from cross-functional stakeholders, projects, and workflows to ensure accurate and timely responses.
Strong analytical thinking, creative problem-solving ability, and challenging the status quo for continuous improvement.
Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to negotiate and influence others.
Assist in creating and maintaining various contract templates to ensure the business can transact quickly and efficiently.
Success in this role is measured by exposure to confidential and sensitive information requiring considerable tact, diplomacy, discretion, independent decision-making and judgement.
Skills and Competencies include operational efficiency, data diligence, resourcefulness, and critical thinking.
