Client Opportunity : Tax Professionals Needed for Seasonal In-Person & Virtual Advisory Roles Across the U.S. A leading provider of digital financial solutions is looking to hire experienced tax professionals to join its seasonal advisory program as Local Tax Experts. These roles will be based at newly launched locations across the United States and combine traditional tax preparation with community engagement and virtual support, offering a unique blend of service and impact. This is a seasonal, on-site position ideal for credentialed professionals who enjoy client interaction, have a knack for simplifying complex financial matters, and want to make a real difference in their communities during tax season. Position Overview The Local Tax Expert will work directly from a designated U.S. location, serving individuals both face-to-face and through virtual sessions. The role involves end-to-end tax preparation, real-time advice, and strategic tax planning using the client’s proprietary tools and platforms. Whether it’s guiding someone through a basic W-2 return, assisting with life-event-related changes, or navigating complex tax issues such as business income or investment portfolios, this position requires someone who can adapt, empathize, and solve problems efficiently. Beyond one-on-one support, this role also calls for a community-facing presence. Experts will represent the brand locally, engage with prospective clients, host learning events, and build lasting relationships that extend well beyond tax season. Key Responsibilities Tax Advisory & Preparation : Deliver full-service individual tax return preparation and personalized tax advice. Assist with discovery interviews, identify applicable deductions, and develop long-term planning strategies. Community Engagement : Serve as a local brand ambassador by cultivating new leads, organizing neighborhood events, and building a presence both in-person and online. Client Relationship Management : Build trust through consistent, high-quality service and empathetic communication. Convert one-time clients into long-term relationships. Customer Experience Excellence : Maintain professionalism while delivering a seamless and positive customer journey, whether virtually or in person. Education & Awareness : Help make taxes approachable through events, content creation, and one-on-one explanations—bringing clarity to a process that often feels overwhelming. Who They’re Looking For Candidates must be credentialed professionals with a strong background in tax preparation and a genuine interest in helping others succeed financially. Required Credentials & Experience : Active and unrestricted EA, CPA, or licensed attorney status. Valid PTIN. At least 2 years of experience filing a minimum of 30 individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax software. Familiarity with IRS Circular 230 regulations. Available to work a consistent schedule of at least 24 hours / week onsite during the season. Preferred Skills & Attributes : Strong communicator with a warm, professional approach. Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for community outreach. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a plus. Previous experience with consultative or holistic tax advisory services. Comfortable with technology, including CRM tools and virtual meeting platforms. Additional Notes Must reside in the U.S. May require applicable state licenses, permits, or bonds depending on location.
