Job description

Position Summary

Works under general supervision to assist withdeveloping implementing and maintaining programming and effective procedurespertaining to justice-involved individuals who are provided services by thisagency.

Pay Grade : 45

Salary Commensurate with Experience and Education

Minimum Qualifications

1. Two (2) years'experience working in a criminal justice environment or related field; AND

2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college oruniversity in criminal justice, psychology, sociology or a closely relatedfield; OR

3. An equivalent combination of related education and / orexperience.

4. PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING AND / OR EXPERIENCE ISREQUIRED.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Acts as liaison withstakeholders to enhance the work of Pretrial Services.

2. Assists in maintaining all appropriate certifications(Individual and Program related).

3. Facilitates groups / classes.

5. Gathers and tracks data related to clients and unitperformance.

6. Organizes and leads team discussions to promote unit anddepartment goals.

7. Provides limited staff supervision and training asneeded.

8. Reviews and manages caseloads to ensure accuracy andappropriate responses.

9. Maintains consistent contact with clients via allacceptable and appropriate methods. This includes but is not limited to officevisits, phone calls, courtroom contact and various technology and apps.

10. Performs other duties as required or directed.

1. Ability to establishand maintain meaningful rapport with various stakeholders.

2. Ability to make presentations in courtroom and groupsettings.

3. Ability to develop and implement new programcurriculums.

4. High level of organizational skills and the ability toset priorities and monitor details.

5. Ability to maintain a high-performance level whileworking independently with limited supervision.

6. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verballyand written.

Special Requirements

1. Mustbe available for weekend and holiday shifts work as required.

2. Mustbe able to work in a jail-secured environment as needed.

3. Must maintainreliable transportation.
