Responsibilities
- Review and manage tax returns for a diverse range of clientele.
- Preparation and review of compilations and reviews.
- Conduct tax complex research.
- Respond to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and tax notices.
What we are looking for
- A friendly, organized and detail-oriented individual who loves the challenge of identifying problems and looking for solutions.
- Someone who is interested in advancement and developing client relationships. We are looking for someone to engage with our clients and wants a place to land long term.
- Experience in individual, business, and trust tax compliance and planning (experience in Lacerte is a plus).
- Experience in accounting clean-up (past experience in QuickBooks and QuickBooks online is a plus).
- Desire and ability to train, mentor / lead, and develop staff.
- This position requires an active CPA license. Bachelor's Degree required (MST is a plus).
