JOB SUMMARY

The Aviation Life Support Equipment Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, and / or replacing equipment "Helmets and NVG goggles" utilized by employees on company aircraft as well as subsidiary companies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES

• Perform inspection / repair of company owned helmets
• Perform inspection / repair of NVG's
• Create shipping labels / receiving labels
• Maintain company inventory
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High Diploma or equivalent
• A&P preferred but not required

• Avionics / mechanical background preferred
• Ability to interpret technical instructions
• Ability to work with a variety of mechanical tools and instruments

Experience

• One year experience in avionics or electronic / electrical background preferred
• Must be able to obtain repairmen certificate within one year of employment. Job Description :
