Oncology RN Job Details

Location : Twin Falls, Idaho (83301) – Idaho healthcare jobs

Setting : Chemo Infusion Clinic – Oncology nursing

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nurse contract

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Shift : Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts (rotating start times between 7 : 00am and 9 : 00am)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1980–$2120

EMR : Epic

Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs, closed toe shoes, no nail polish

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Idaho or compact state

BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Provider Card required

OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification is a plus

Minimum 1 year of infusion clinic RN experience and 1 year of oncology nursing experience, or 2 years of inpatient oncology RN experience (3 years total preferred for first-time travel nurses)

Proficiency with IV starts, central lines, port access, patient assessments, and chemotherapy administration

Strong patient education and communication skills

Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Oncology RN Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and provide vascular access (IV starts, central lines, port access)

Administer chemotherapy and other infusions (e.g., IVIG, Rituxan) in a clinical setting

Draw labs, monitor for infusion reactions, and ensure patient safety

Deliver patient education and ongoing support throughout oncology treatment

Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant healthcare environment, including cleaning workstations and equipment

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology healthcare team, including medical oncologists, APPs, and clinical support staff

Review patient schedules, clarify care plans, and document in Epic EMR

Float within the infusion clinic as needed, including triage for experienced oncology RNs
