Shift : 6 : 00 PM - 6 : 30 AM

Experience :

• 18 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from any number of months.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Chemo Experience required

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift : 4x12 or 3x12s Days (1800-0630)

Will work every other weekend

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed

Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.

Required Work Setting Experience : Med / Surg.

Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response

Skills / Experience : Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills / Experience : Colostomy care, Feeding tube care and management.

Required IV therapy / Phlebotomy Skills / Experience : Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care / Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs.

Required Oncology Experience : Chemotherapy Administration, Monitoring Chemotherapy.

Required Medication Experience : Heparin, Insulin, PCA. Required Neurological / Psychiatric Case Skills / Experience : CVA, Pre / Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury. Experience with Surgical drains required.

Required Respiratory Case Skills / Experience : Chest tubes-Emerson / Pleur-evac, CPAP / BiPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Pre / Post Thoracic Surgery, Tracheostomy Management.

Required Professional Knowledge and Skills : Isolation Precautions, Wound Care / Wound Vac. Continuous Bladder Irrigation experience required.

Teaching Hospital Experience Preferred. Trauma Level II Experience Preferred.

Candidate must 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Any PERM or PRN employee of Memorial must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler

Maximum days off : 5 days
