Responsibilities
- Improve O.E.E. on all automated manufacturing equipment to achieve annual OEE goals.
- Ensure cost reduction goals are being met utilizing effective preventive maintenance systems and technical training on lower-level automation technicians.
- PLC Programming.
- Troubleshoot automation production equipment via functional understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems and equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and fine-tune to production standards as necessary to achieve OEE Goals.
- Perform equipment changeovers as scheduled.
- Develop and perform preventive maintenance inspections and routines on all automated production equipment.
- Provide training and support to all Level automation technicians in large-scale repairs.
- Log equipment usage, work performed, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality.
- Perform tasks alongside technical operations team members.
- Complete all job functions safely.
- Interact and participate in a close-knit team.
- Support in other shifts as needed.
- Changeover equipment between different automation configurations.
- Maintain a positive attitude, volunteer for additional tasks, and assist team members.
- Review daily production schedules and prepare supplies to minimize downtime.
- Maintain 5S housekeeping in work areas for safety and organization.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Work independently or with supervision to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
- Work flexible shifts including weekdays and weekends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate Degree in automation technology with 5 years of experience, or10 years of experience in a production environment, especially with molding automation, substituting an associate degree.Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills.Ability to modify and test PLC programming code.Mechanical aptitude and communication skills.Benefits
