Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for staff and visitors. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology and media location, including the business interior and perimeter areas. Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or activity within the facility. Maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols. Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or client representatives regarding any security-related concerns or incidents. Support a collaborative relationship with client staff, visitors, and vendors to promote a positive and secure atmosphere at the location. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Guard - Media Facility Unarmed Patrol
As a Security Guard - Media Facility Unarmed Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication to everyone onsite. By conducting regular patrols and maintaining visibility, you will play a key role in creating a secure atmosphere.
