QA Analyst (Mid-Level) - Remote
Contract through June 2026 | Strong Extension / Conversion Potential
We are supporting our client, Verita, in hiring a Mid-Level QA Analyst to join their growing Quality Assurance team. This is a remote, long-term contract role with a high likelihood of extension or conversion to full-time. The team is scaling to support a large, high-visibility initiative that is closely monitored at the executive level, and they are looking for someone who can contribute immediately.
Overview
The QA Analyst will be responsible for validating deliverables, creating clear and structured test documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the quality of large-scale applications. The ideal candidate is a self-starter , experienced in fast-moving project environments, and comfortable jumping into new initiatives with minimal ramp time.
Key Responsibilities
Create and execute test plans , test cases , and test scripts for large, complex projects.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing as required.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Ensure documentation is completed in a clear, organized, and formal manner.
Participate in daily stand-ups and team ceremonies to communicate progress, risks, and blockers.
Validate data and assist with troubleshooting defects throughout the SDLC.
Collaborate with distributed team members across multiple time zones.
Required Skills & Experience
5-7 years of professional QA experience
Strong knowledge of SDLC , QA methodologies, and testing best practices
Proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight
Experience supporting large-scale, high-visibility projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Experience writing structured, formal test documentation
Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with the legal / law industry
SQL experience for data validation
Experience with modern project tools such as :
Shortcut (project management)
GitHub (for reviewing or validating developer changes)
Work Environment
100% Remote (US-based; flexible on location)
Standard business hours, with a preference for candidates who can join the team's 7am PST daily stand-up
Collaborative, distributed QA and development teams
