Job Title : Subsea Engineer

Location : Houston, TX

Department : Offshore Engineering

Job Type : Contract (Shell Offices 3 days per week, 2 days remote if desired)

Position Summary :

Subsea Engineer with 20+ years of expertise in subsea system design and installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Detailed design of flowlines, including familiarity with regulations and industry codes.
• Offshore experience on lay vessels, ROV boats and dive vessels.
• Able to develop pre-commissioning and start-up procedures.
• Able to frame fatigue and thermal analysis of pipelines and risers.
• Experienced in all phases of concept development and execution, including FEED, detailed design, installation and commissioning. (abandonment also helpful)
• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (API and DNV).
• Familiar with subsea equipment installation and operation.
• Familiar with subsea lifting, including hydrodynamics and rigging design, preferred.
