Job Details
The position is responsible for maintaining client relationships, and has authority to direct, control, and monitor all project activities.
The project manager must demonstrate professional skill, high standards, sound judgement, and professionalism. The project manager will pass knowledge to others and support a continuous learning environment.
Team building and motivation are key responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities
Overall project performance by meeting profitability, budget, and timeline goals
Strategic project planning by interpreting, organizing, scheduling, and managing projects through all phases of development.
Implements processes to reduce risk and exposure in all phases of a project.
Establishing project schedule, maintain the schedule as project processes and communicating with clients, consultants, and designers as milestones are met or change.
Project resourcing, ensuring efficient use of resources, and adequate staffing to meet needs of project portfolio.
Coordinates the design team, holding kick off meetings, milestone, and progress meetings to ensure the team meets the established project schedule.
Makes regular progress updates to the Principal in Charge.
Provides supervision and guidance to design team to ensure project is designed to established specifications, scope, building codes, and works with the team to design solutions to unforeseen conditions as they arise.
Communicates with the client when additional fees are required.
Maintains ongoing positive and productive client relationships representing with clients and consultants ensuring projects meet or exceed the expectations of our clients.
Acts as a Mentor promoting the professional development of junior staff through proactive coaching, acting as a resource to help solve design problems, and providing performance enhancing feedback to team members.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Architecture from a five-year NAAB accredited College or university.
15) or more year’s work experience as an architectural project manager.
ARE (Architectural Registration Exam) registration / license, required.
Strong understanding of PMP or PSMJ Project Management, preferred.
Solid understanding of project management, design, and construction support.
