Surveillance Manager
Directly Supervises : Surveillance Operator
Key Job Functions :
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training and mentoring employees; planning, assigning, scheduling and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems and the overall effective operation of the shift. These responsibilities are coordinated with the Surveillance Lead Supervisors, Surveillance Manager, and Surveillance Director.
Educations and / or Experience :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. College education is helpful.
Experience in Surveillance within a Casino Environment. Some Technical background with experience with DVR's, Monitors, Camera's, and Digital Recording Solutions, etc. Must possess basic computer skills.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees and management.
Mathematical Skills :
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations :
Must be able to obtain and maintain a license from the Indiana Gaming Commission and the Indiana Horse Racing Commission
Access to Confidential / Proprietary Information :
Has access to all sensitive materials pertaining to the Surveillance Department as approved by the Director.
Access to Gaming Floor :
Has access to the general areas of the facility. Does not have access to the cages, money handling areas, soft count and the vault without permission from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
