Overview
A mission-driven nonprofit housing organization is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day operations and provide administrative and customer service support to staff, residents, and community partners. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a difference in their community.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to general inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Provide administrative support to staff and leadership, including scheduling, filing, and document preparation
- Assist with processing applications, certifications, and tenant / participant documentation
- Maintain accurate records and databases in compliance with organizational policies and HUD / state regulations
- Support board meetings, special projects, and community events as needed
Qualifications
2+ years of administrative or office support experience required; nonprofit or housing experience a plusStrong communication and customer service skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); database experience a plusAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalismHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple prioritiesCompensation & Benefits
